HORSE SERUM IS A GOOD SOURCE OF GROWTH FACTORS AND HORMONES REQUIRED IN CELL CULTURE STUDIES AND IS ALSO A GOOD ALTERNATIVE TO BOVINE SERUM.
Horse Serum has more immunoglobulin and protein content than fetal bovine serum (FBS). Horse Serum is also very commonly used as a blocking agent in immunological assays. Horse Serum is used in diagnostic tests, production of mycoplasmas, hematopoietic stem cells and neuronal cells.
